Our annual and on-going programs exist to educate and inspire. We have annual events such as the Sustainable Wenatchee Earth Day Fair and EcoChallenges in April and July. We offer classes and workshops throughout the year on topics such as working toward zero waste, small space composting and the climate crises. Our Tread Lightly Friday program started it all, and continues to offer discounts throughout the valley every Friday when you act sustainably. If you share our passion for environmental stewardship, be sure to join us every third Thursday for Wenatchee Valley Green Drinks*! Since we've all gone "virtual," we created our a program called Tread Lightly Talks, which features interviews with local sustainability gurus and passionate citizens, on a variety of topics. Check out our YouTube Channel and Instagram account to watch.

Our newest campaign, launched in spring 2021, is a pilot program promoting Idle Free Zones at daycares, preschools and private schools. We hope to expand this to public schools and drive-thrus over the next few years.
