POSTPONED - Shampoo and conditioner bar class with The Bubblery
Time & Location
About The Event
Sustainable Wenatchee is teaming up with Leavenworth's The Bubblery for a class on making your own shampoo and conditioner bars. Shawna Villalvazo, owner of The Bubblery, will teach you how to take the step away from commercial shampoos and conditioners, which are sometimes made with harsh ingredients and almost always in plastic containers that aren’t recyclable.
We will be using a pre-made base that is palm-free, sulfate-free and vegan, custom made for your own hair type, and learning how to blend essential oils and herbs that benefit your hair. Shawna will have several options, such as charcoal, coconut oil, fresh and dried rosemary, orange peel, lemon peel and many different types of essential oils. Each participant will leave with a shampoo and conditioner bar! No lye will be used in this class so all ages are welcome to come.
Where: Makers Coffee Roasters & Event Space, behind JB Steamers in East Wenatchee
